The Marketplace

The Health Insurance Marketplace was established by the Affordable Care Act of 2010. It is designed as a gateway for individuals, families, and small businesses to access health insurance. The marketplace is generally used by people who do not have access to health insurance sponsored through an employer. There are also features of the marketplace where insurance premiums, deductibles, and cost sharing will be adjusted based off of your income.  Using the marketplace on your own can be quite confusing, but this is where the role of an agent comes in. I can help you figure out if you qualify for the marketplace, compare plans, explain benefits, and assist with enrollment applications. If you have any questions, call Bryce.

Individual & Family Plans

Individual & Family Health Insurance is purchased by individuals and families on their own, separate from any business or employer. Depending on an individuals or families income, they may want to shop for insurance by going through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The people who do not qualify to use the Health Insurance Marketplace will have to buy insurance on their own without receiving the advanced premium tax credits or reduced cost sharing available through the marketplace. To understand and learn more about health insurance, contact Bryce.

Group Plans

Group Health Insurance is a regular health insurance plan that is offered by an employer for his/her employees, and occasionally their dependents. Business owners usually help pay a portion of their employees insurance premiums. If you want to learn more about group coverage, feel free to give Bryce a call.
